CSE Global Ltd (CSE) today announced that its subsidiaries were recently awarded two contracts worth about S$9 million in Nigeria. W-Industries, its US-based subsidiary, was awarded a contract to provide, install and commission the Subsea Control System Master Control stations and Hydraulic Power Units for the AGBAMI project in offshore Nigeria. The systems are designed to handle up to 48 subsea wells, and have the capacity for expansion to over 100 subsea wells. Through this project, the installed base of W-Industries's Subsea Master Control Stations will surpass 180 wells worldwide.
In the same AGBAMI field project, Transtel Engineering, the Singapore-based subsidiary of CSE, was awarded to do the detailed engineering, design, procurement, system integration, test and commissioning of a telecommunications network to be deployed for the AGBAMI FPSO (floating, production, storage and offloading) vessel.
The telecommunication network is designed to support the critical operation of the FPSO, and will include onboard navigation systems, radio communication systems, aviation systems, surveillance system, data and network system, and VSAT system.
Both projects will complete by early 2006, and will have a positive impact on CSE's net profit for this, and the next financial year
