Following the start-up of the LNG trains at the Qatar Gas LNG Plant in Ras Laffan, Qatar, the Qatari oil company choose Trouvay & Cauvin Group to provide LNG train maintenance.
Qatar Liquefied Gas Company (Qatar Gas) was established to build, own and operate a 77 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Qatar, using the giant North field reservoir gas as feedstock, and to market the resultant LNG product. This is the largest LNG train in the world.
The framework contract between Trouvay & Cauvin Group & Qatar Gas covers all LNG trains. It also handles contract negotiations with world class manufacturers. Those suppliers are approved by the client, by Trouvay & Cauvin Group and by the quality department of Trouvay & Cauvin.
This agreement allowed to other local oil companies to contact Trouvay & Cauvin for similar services.
