Abadan oil refinery’s gasoline production will rise by 2 million liters per day up to the end of Iranian month of Dey on 20th January 2012.
In an interview with Shana, managing director of Abadan Oil Refining Company, Abdolreza Mehraban said Abadan refinery’s gasoline production capacity would rise by two million liters of super gasoline by launching the second phase of its gasoline making project.
He went on to say that the process of mechanical installation of the second phase has been completed and is ready for per-launch.
‘Preparing pipelines and equipments and washing them with acid, that is a part of pre-launch operations, is underway and it is predicted all the instruments to be ready for operation on schedule’ Mehrabani told Shana.
By completion of gasoline making project at Abadan oil refinery, the refinery’s gasoline production capacity will rise by six million liters per day. The first phase of the project came online in June this year with production capacity of 4.2 million liters.
Gasoline making and upgrading plans of Abadan oil refinery are going on respectively with 800 million and 3 billion dollars investment.
