Rostam Ghasemi, Iran’s minister of petroleum told media in a press conference that Iran will halt oil export to some European countries, and added: “we are not worry about selling our oil and a list of European countries under Iran’s oil sanction will be published soon.”

Iran has settled its oil bills with European countries, the official said adding ‘in this circumstances even if just now they decide to stop buying oil, Iran’s oil industry won’t face any problem’. European countries can decide to halt buying Iran’s oil, the subject that does not matter too much but if Iran oil removed from the market it will lead to volatility in the market and European people should pay the price, SHANA reported.

Minster of petroleum told the news conference: ‘We have stated earlier that we will halt oil delivery to some European countries but we will continue oil sells to those companies that are involved in our oil industry projects, but even if they are not interested to buy our oil, we have no problem’.

‘European countries are buying just 18 percent of our oil and we face no problem to replace them with new customers’, the minister of petroleum noted.

Responding to a question on sending a letter to Iraqi oil minister as president of OPEC, Qasemi said: we asked the president to notice the members their duties on respecting the rights of the other members in oil market.
