New World Oil and Gas Plc, a company focused on making investments in the oil and gas sector, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Christopher (Chris) Einchcomb as a Non-executive Director to the Board. Mr. Einchcomb has nearly 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry having worked for both major oil companies and the service sector in technical, commercial and management roles.
Mr. Einchcomb has extensive global experience in the oil and gas industry having spent over 24 years at BP where he worked in the UK, US, Norway, Vietnam, Venezuela and Russia. During his employment at BP, he gained experience in Mergers and Acquisition, exploration leadership roles and for two years headed BP’s Exploration Assurance function. Between 2008 and 2011, Mr. Einchcomb was Executive Vice President for Integra’s seismic Division, one of Russia’s biggest integrated service providers. He is currently Senior Vice President at TNK-BP with overall responsibility for Russia, global exploration operations and organic renewal.

Meanwhile in Denmark, we have just announced the completion of the transaction documents for our third project, the Danica Resources Project which has a ‘drill ready prospect’ with a gross P50 resource of 97 MMbbls of oil and 1.401 TCF of gas, and where a phased seismic acquisition programme is due to begin shortly.”
