Managing director of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company referred to the development of three Iranian oilfields and said Cheshmeh Khosh, Sarvestan and Saadat Abad oilfields will be commissioned soon.
"Cheshmeh Khosh oilfield is being developed rapidly and the project with 97% growth will be operated completely", Fakour said adding construction of two reservoirs will be finished concurrent with the inauguration of the field.
He went on to say that Development of Cheshmeh Khosh production unit with processing capacity of up to 180 thousand barrels of oil is in the pipeline.
Fakour said ICOFC plans to enhance the recovery rate at the aforementioned field and to this end West associated gas would be injected into Cheshmeh Khosh field.
He also said recovery enhancement project of the field is aimed at gathering 60 million feet of gas a day through accumulation and injection of associated gas and then injecting it into Cheshmeh Khosh in order to boost production and make up for the reservoir pressure drop.
Cheshmeh Khosh oilfield is located 70km west of Andimeshk city and 80km southeast of Dehloran in Illam province west of Iran.
Elsewhere in his remarks Fakour referred to Sarvestan and Saadat Abad oilfields and said by the end of September, the fields would come on stream.
"Early production from Sarvestan and Saadat Abad oil fields with 15 thousand barrels of oil per day will start in next three month", he added.
ICOFC’s managing director concluded up to now 10 oil wells have been drilled in Sarvestan and Saadat Abad while another two wells should be drilled for gas injection.
Sarvestan oilfield is located 110km southeast of Shiraz and Saadat Abad lies 20km north of Sarvestan field. The two fields with 1billion and 402 million barrels of in-situ oil are among NIOC (National Iranian Oil Company) list of development fields.
