Iraq's oil sector produced over three million barrels per day in July 2012, reaching levels not seen since before the US-led invasion in 2003.

With a rising population, increasing global demand and growing political stability, the Iraqi oil sector is set for substantial growth as companies develop new fields and technologies, providing powerful investment opportunities and giving the country a significant economic boost.

With Iraq's oil sector drawing the attention of investors around the world, The CWC Group will host the Iraq Mega Projects Conference & Exhibition in Dubai, UAE, on 1-3 October 2012 at the Madinat Jumeirah. The Conference will focus on key areas across the oil field services chain, including, EPC contracting, transportation, construction, logistics, technology, security and infrastructure.

Iraq Mega Projects will provide participants with in-depth insight into current challenges and new opportunities. Key topics of discussion will include progress updates on current projects and future opportunities, latest technologies, best practices best suited to Iraq and the current investment client in the country. Delegates will learn effective business strategies, guidelines for submitting tenders and methods for utilizing technology whilst networking with Iraqi operators, government officials and key decision makers.

"The opportunity in Iraq is vast, but in order to develop a maintainable petroleum sector in the country, significant investments must be made into logistics, infrastructure and innovation. This is an extraordinary opportunity for investors and Iraq Mega Projects is a powerful platform to bring all these stakeholders together," Natalie Bacon, Conference Producer, The CWC Group.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, this is the event's third Edition and will bring together key stakeholders and decision makers to identify and assess oil field project and infrastructure investment opportunities.
