GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Limited is pleased to announce that the National Energy Beruau has approved GCL-Poly to start the preparatory work for construction on 310MW ground-mounted and 30MW roof-top solar projects (”Projects”) in Datong Shanxi province. The approval of the Projects is regarded as the strongest support to the solar industry from the Chinese government since the European debt crsis and the US’s anti-dumping and anti-subsidy cases against the Chinese solar products. This also marks as a milestone in large scaled solar farms projects construction plan that is adopted by the Chinese government. It is expected that the Projects will be the largest solar farm in China and one of the largest single-unit solar farms in the world.

Mr. Zhu Gongshan, Chairman of GCL-Poly said, "It is a great honor for GCL-Poly to receive the approval on the construction of such large scaled solar farm projects. This shows that the National Energy Bereau has strong confidence and trust in GCL-Poly’s capability to develop solar farm projects. It also demonstrates that the Chinese government’s strong determination to support domestic solar industry. "
