Paradigm announced that Oryx Petroleum Services SA has adopted Paradigm Sysdrill 2012, Paradigm’s well planning and drilling engineering product suite, as its corporate standard for drilling operations. The Sysdrill 2012 software suite is a unified application that offers unprecedented levels of product integration, interface consistency and productivity gains to carry out highly efficient and flexible engineering workflows. The announcement was made at the 88th Society of Petroleum Engineering’s Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) in San Antonio, TX.
“After conducting a thorough technical evaluation of available products on the market, Oryx selected Sysdrill 2012 as its corporate software solution for drilling engineering. This decision was based primarily on the software’s ease of use and product integration, in addition to the reliable technical support available from Paradigm,” said Shane Cloninger, senior drilling engineer for Oryx.
“We’re very pleased that Oryx has joined the growing number of companies who have selected Paradigm Sysdrill as its primary software solution for drilling,” said Robert Innes, director for well planning & drilling at Paradigm. “With continued advancements in our software solutions, we’re helping operating companies like Oryx to more accurately plan wells and reduce drilling risk by making informed engineering decisions.”
