Atlantic Oilfield Services Awards Contract For work in Iraq

Atlantic Oilfield Services has been awarded a contract for the supply of a medium size land drilling rig including the provision of the drilling management to a joint venture company between a Turkish and a European oilfield operator. The scope of work entails the drilling of three wells in the northern region of Iraq near Suleymaniya. The rig is currently in process of being prepared for shipment from the Netherlands and is expected to commence drilling operations in March/April 2006.
