Drilling Contractor Killed while on Duty in Wafra

An oil drilling contractor was killed while on the job at the Wafra Joint Operations facility in southern Kuwait. Investigations are being carried out in order to determine the exact circumstances behind the incident, according to a WJO statement.

Wafra Joint Operations, WJO, is a joint venture between Kuwait Gulf Oil Co and Saudi Arabian Chevron that administers the extraction of oil in the joint border region between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
