Wood Group has won multiple new contracts in India during the last 12 months, worth a combined total of more than $10 million. With around 150 employees in-country located at offices in Gurgaon, Pune and Chennai, the new contracts – awarded to Wood Group GTS, Wood Group Kenny and Wood Group Mustang – demonstrate the Group’s continued commitment to supporting oil & gas and power operators across India.
Wood Group GTS has secured two contracts to supply its patented EcoValue™ gas turbine compressor water wash systems. The first order is for the supply of the EcoValue technology which will be commissioned on offshore platforms in the Mumbai region of India. This contract includes nine water wash systems to support 22 gas turbines as well as a five-year maintenance agreement for 10 operational offshore platforms.
A second contract has been awarded by a large electric utility in New Delhi for the supply of two EcoValue compressor water wash systems for installation on four GE Frame 9E gas turbines operating at a gas fired power station. This contract also includes the supply of two sets of GE Frame 9E 1st stage nozzles.

Wood Group Kenny has been involved in a number of projects across India. In its capacity as EPCM consultant (engineering, procurement, construction, management) the company has commissioned three major onshore pipeline projects, as well as India’s city gas distribution network which brings gas into seven major cities across the country – Meerut, Indore, Kota, Sonepat, Dewas, Gwalior and Kanpur. Wood Group Kenny has also won two framework agreements to provide a range of engineering and construction management services for two onshore projects.

Wood Group Mustang has completed FEED (front end engineering and design) services for an onshore gas compression facility located on the east coast of India, which compresses natural gas produced from deepwater gas fields.
