Norway's Statoil has returned more staff to Algeria following an attack on the In Amenas facility by Islamic militants last January, Chief Executive Helge Lund told Reuters.
Statoil began to return foreign workers at its operational centre at Hassi Messaoud last year. Now more staff have returned to the In Salah field in southern Algeria.
"We have started to repatriate people at some other fields at In Salah. It will take more time at In Amenas," Lund said.
Normal rotation of personnel had resumed at two out of the four sites Statoil is present at In Salah.
