Oleg Nagovitsyn was elected Director General of Gazprom Investproject. Oleg Nagovitsyn was born in 1970 in the Udmurt ASSR. In 1995 he graduated from St. Petersburg University of Economy and Finance, in 2013 he received his MBA degree in Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
Between 1995 and 1997 he held various positions at Bank Saint Petersburg.
Between 1997 and 2001 he took managerial positions in economics and finance across a number of companies.
Between 2002 and 2004 – Director for Economics and Finance, then – Director General of DLT Trading Firm.
Between 2004 and 2014 he served as Deputy Head of the Financial Market Operations Directorate, later on – Deputy Head of the Corporate Finance Directorate of Gazprom.
Oleg Nagovitsyn is a successor of Igor Golenishchev, former Director General of Gazprom Investproject, who is currently Head of the Debt and Project Finance Directorate within the Department for Finance and Economics of Gazprom.
Gazprom Investproject, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom, was established as a special-purpose company to deliver projects using project finance methods. Gazprom Investproject invested in the Adler TPP construction and successfully delivered the project based on these methods.
