Aberdeen-based IT software and services company, Adept Solutions, has secured a contract with Nexen Petroleum UK Limited. The project will see Adept install its flexible hydrocarbon accounting system, Axis, into Nexen’s UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) operations.
The system – the only tool that allows operators to manage multiple product lifting regimes from numerous off-take points – encompasses a range of key functions, including stock management, forecast and actual production, calculation of partner lifting entitlements and lifting schedules.
Adept’s Client Director, Steve Penman, commented: “We’re extremely pleased to have been awarded this contract with Nexen – a major player in the UKCS.
“The calibre of our ever-expanding client list reflects the quality of our Axis product, which is extremely flexible, meaning it can be implemented into our clients’ assets with minimal effort.
“We look forward to delivering the project and providing the company with unrivalled data integrity and operational insight for its UKCS product operations.”
Established in 2006, Adept Solutions has a strong international focus, supporting clients across Europe, Africa and Asia.
The company’s intuitive, easy to use hydrocarbon accounting system, Axis, is used by operators to provide timely and reliable production data to government, partners and internal consumers. Highly flexible, the technology can be easily tailored to meet the requirements of each individual client.
