Deputy manger of development plans of 16 oil fields at central Iranian oil regions noted that tender bid for development operations at Dehloran oil field will be held during the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2005) and operations will start early next Iranian year.
Peiman Imani told Petroenergy Information Network that suitable locations for drilling wells are begin prepared and will be finished in the first half of the next Iranian year. The official stated that a new well will be spudded and six wells will be repaired and all drilling operations have been designed by specialists from National Iranian Drilling Company. He noted that production hike in Dehloran oil field is equal to 25,000 barrels per day and said that development of the field will be finished in 2008. The official also stated that tender bid for surface operations at Sarvestan and Saadat Abad oil fields will be held this year and contractors will start to work next year. Imani said Sarvestan and Saadat Abad fields are to yield 15,000 barrels oil per day, adding, “Production from the fields will start in 2008 and development of the said fields will include drilling 10 new production wells, 2 injection wells and five repair wells.
