Source: OPEC 11/17/2014, Location: Africa

Africaís oil production is expected to increase by 0.01 mb/d in 2014 to average 2.41 mb/d. The limitation of the development of oil fields in Africa has caused a continued reduction of supply. Therefore, incremental output has been driven mainly by the return of shut-in wells in South Sudan. South Sudan and Sudanís oil supply is expected to increase by 0.05 mb/d in 2014 to average 0.29 mb/d. Oil production is also expected to increase slightly in Equatorial Guinea, while oil production in other countries of the region is expected to experience decreases.
