At the Hannover Fair (Hall 7, Stand A26) from 13-17 April 2015, the production specialist PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH is presenting three Industrial Internet scenarios that implement the concepts of the fourth industrial revolution, making them ready for practice: Smart Planning, Smart Products and Smart Integration. Above all, one objective is the focus of the three scenarios – the simplification of the acquisition of information and the reduction of complexity of production control.
The scenario Smart Planning demonstrates the interplay between scheduling of the PSIpenta/control room with a 3D visualisation. The question of localisation of order status in the factory is answered with a single glance. The scenario Smart Products presents the clever use of smart devices for production control. Processing information from the order management in the PSIpenta ERP suite are forwarded to a smart device and used for production control.
The third scenario, Smart Integration, shows the control of the deployment of service staff in cases of disruptions. Here, a real linking of automation technology, visualisation of machine status and order progress is demonstrated by means of SCADA technology (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system for the collection and analysis of real-time data) and mobile handling. The solution also allows for the derivation of preventive measures for the securing of the functionality of machines and production operations.
With these scenarios at the Hannover Fair, PSIPENTA has been selected as an official participant of the (Industry 4.0) Industrial Internet Guided Tour of the Hannover Fair. Times and the participating companies in the tours will be announced on the homepage of the fair in the near future.
