In 2015, Sealtron, Inc. and BTC Electronic Components celebrate a partnership that began back in 1995 when Sealtron, a well-established manufacturer of QPL and custom-designed glass-to-metal-sealed connectors, recognized the need to sell its products into a new distribution channel.
At the same time, BTC Electronic Components was in the market for a manufacturer of hermetic connectors to add to its distribution line card. The agreement that resulted from those common aspirations has thrived in the two decades since.
"BTC has been so much more than a distributor during the 20 years that the company has teamed with Sealtron. It is a partner in the true sense of the word, providing outstanding service to the users of Sealtron's hermetically sealed connectors," comments Rob Winterburn, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for AMETEK Interconnect Technology.
“Our close relationship with Sealtron has been an integral component of our success over the past 20 years,” notes Paul Moseley, President and Chief Executive Officer of BTC Electronic Components.
“Sealtron has consistently provided the quality products that our customers demand for their hermetic connector applications. We could not ask for a more supportive partner. As we look to the future, we know the strength of our relationship with Sealtron will continue to play a major factor in reaching our mutual goals,” he adds.
BTC is a stocking distributor of Sealtron’s qualified hermetic connectors and holds inventory of MIL-DTL-38999, MIL-DTL-26482, MIL-DTL-83723, EN2997 and many other commercial lines.
BTC has been a manufacturer franchised/authorized connector distributor supplying high-reliability connectors and connector accessories to the military, aerospace and commercial industries since 1980. Its military and aerospace connector expertise has enabled it to expand into other markets, including medical, industrial, network communications, process control, transportation, and heavy equipment.
