Polyflow, LLC, the leading manufacturer of spoolable RTP for transporting hydrocarbons, water, and other fluids and gases, today announced the opening of a two-acre operations yard and office in Dilley, Texas in the Eagle Ford Shale. Upon opening, the yard will provide customers in the Eagle Ford with local availability of Polyflow products as well as support Polyflow’s regional sales and field service teams.
The location will allow the Company to better serve customers throughout South Texas, and will hold the full line of Polyflow’s Thermoflex® piping, which is lightweight, easy to install, reliable, and requires much lower ongoing maintenance costs than steel or other types of plastic pipe.
“The current barrel price fluctuations have sharpened the focus of field operators and executives to find more cost-effective ways to drive production while maintaining safety and reliability,” said Jim Medalie, CEO of Polyflow. “This new service yard and our manufacturing plant in Midland, Texas, combine to give upstream and midstream operators in South Texas, local availability and worry-free solutions to get wells flowing.”
The opening of this strategic location, now places Polyflow in the heart of the Eagle Ford Shale, where there is a high demand for faster well tie-ins that reduce time to revenue from new wells. Polyflow gathering line solutions install faster than steel, without the need for heavy equipment or welding.
“Polyflow’s unique multi-layer extrusion and braiding technology creates piping that is strong enough to withstand the demands of Eagle Ford exploration and production customers,” said Jim Moore, COO of Polyflow. “Plus, our corrosion-resistant polymers reduce ongoing maintenance and the need for corrosion inhibitors or pigging, giving Polyflow users the ability to cut operating costs and focus on opening new wells.”
