Paradigm® will showcase the innovative technologies included in the Paradigm 15 Release at the 2015 European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) Annual Conference and Exhibition in Madrid, June 1-15. Paradigm 15 is designed to enhance productivity through a high-definition platform, interdisciplinary workflows, and third-party data integration, to help users drill more accurately while minimizing non-productive time.
Conference attendees are invited to join Paradigm at booth #240 for daily live presentations. The rich multi-disciplinary program includes solutions that help geoscientists successfully cope with today’s drilling challenges and mitigate environmental and economic risk. Paradigm technical experts will demonstrate methods for increasing accuracy and productivity through integrated high-definition interpretation, as well as for solving velocity challenges and tackling complex reservoirs. The full presentation program can be found on the Paradigm Website.
“With the release of Paradigm 15, the company is addressing the new challenges facing our industry,” said Duane Dopkin, executive vice president of Geoscience at Paradigm. “Many of our innovations, such as advanced Quantitative Seismic Interpretation (QSI) and the tight integration between our earth modeling and velocity determination applications, are designed to help users achieve highly accurate results in a more efficient manner. We welcome the opportunity to showcase these achievements at the EAGE conference.”
Additional demonstrations will include case studies by Paradigm customers Galp Energia, PetroTrace Global and VNG Norge, who will discuss their experiences with Paradigm software on real world datasets. The company will host three complimentary Lunch & Learn sessions, which will both highlight some of the exciting functionalities in the new release, and feature customer and partner presentations. Advanced online registration is required for each Lunch & Learn session.
Paradigm geoscientists will have a significant presence in this year’s EAGE technical program, with technical paper presentations in the Velocity Model Building (Theory I and II), Seismic Reservoir Characterization I, Diffraction Modeling & Imaging, Seismic Anisotropy in Fractured Reservoirs, Broadband-Deghosting, and Interpreting the Uncertain Seismic Image sessions.
Paradigm subject matter experts will be available for one-on-one presentations for a more in-depth look at specific workflows or software applications.
