Cecon Wins pipelay contracts in Africa

As part of the Cooperation Agreement with Deepflex Inc. Houston, Cecon has been contracted for installation of Deepflex flexible pipelines for a Deepflex project in West-Africa. The project involves approx 3kms of Deeflex products of up to 8” dimensions.

Cecon will commence engineering immediately, with installation planned for 4th quarter 2007. Cecon scope is not finalized, but Contract value is currently estimated at approx USD 7 million (NOK 42 million).

Furthermore Cecon has commenced the engineering and planning of an expected contract for a new 33km 4” steel pipeline for Angola Drilling Company. Installation is planned to take place in 1st half 2008. Contract value currently estimated at USD 15 million (NOK 90 million)
