SKF Solutions for Energy & Performance Optimization on Show at WEFTEC 2015

SKF will showcase a selection of its market leading solutions for the water quality industry at WEFTEC 2015. The solutions on show are designed to enable operations and maintenance teams to cost-effectively boost asset performance and reliability as well as cut energy consumption.

SKF will demonstrate its complete magnetic system solution for centrifugal aeration blowers. This solution enables users to reduce the energy use of their aeration processes by 10-40% compared with existing blower units thanks to an energy efficient design. The SKF solution for aeration blower systems is included in the SKF BeyondZero* portfolio.

The SKF booth will also feature the SKF EnCompass Field Performance Programme, an essential innovation which ensures optimum bearing performance. SKF EnCompass enables the optimization of bearing designs and a more detailed analysis of the factors that influence bearing service life to meet real-world application conditions.

Visitors can also learn about SKF SimPro. SimPro is part of the SKF EnCompass programme and is a calculation tool that can help engineers in the water quality sector to select the right bearings for their specific application requirements and conditions to further improve the performance of assets.
