Gas Natural Fenosa Chile Buys 8.33% of Metrogas from Trigas for 116m Euros
Source: www.gulfoilandgas.com 10/8/2015, Location: South AmericaGAS NATURAL FENOSA CHILE closed a deal to buy 8.33% of the company Metrogas S.A. for 116 million euros (89.77 billion Chilean Pesos) after reaching an agreement with the gas group TRIGAS.
Following this acquisition, the stake in the company Metrogas held by the GAS NATURAL FENOSA group in Chile will rise from 51.84% to 60.17%.
The Board of Directors will comprise five members appointed by GASCO, four by COPEC and one appointed until now by TRIGAS who will subsequently be appointed by GAS NATURAL FENOSA CHILE.
METROGAS is the leading gas distribution company in Chile, with close to 600,000 customers.
