SIBUR will exhibit its synthetic rubber products and projects earmarked for export to China and other Asian countries at the 15th International Exhibition on Rubber Technology (RubberTech-2015), the leading International Rubber Technology Exhibition in Shanghai, China.
At the exhibition, SIBUR will present a range of products including those already supplied to the Chinese market, such as solution-polymerised styrene-butadiene and polybutadiene rubbers, and polyisoprene rubber IR-3C grade (which is certified for use by the food and pharmaceutical industries). SSBR and BR grades are being developed for the production of “Green” tyres, which comply with the new EU regulation for efficient tyres.
Andrey Frolov, CEO of SIBUR International and Sales Director of SIBUR’s Synthetic Rubbers Business Unit said: “China is an important market for SIBUR. The Company sells a wide range of products to the Chinese market and its sales of synthetic rubbers to China account for more than 15% of SIBUR’s total sales volumes to the region. High rates of the Chinese economy growth in the automotive and industrial equipment sectors provide solid demand growth for rubbers, and we expect to strengthen our presence in the market.”
RubberTech-2015 will be open for visitors on 11–13 November 2015 in Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Pudong, Shanghai. SIBUR’s stand 2A 711 will be in Hall E1.
