John Wishart Steps Down as Group Energy Director

John Wishart, Group Energy Director for Lloyd’s Register has decided to leave the organisation. Throughout his time at LR, John has been a respected and valued member of the Executive Leadership Team who has made an enormous contribution to the LR business.

John joined LR on December 1, 2011 from GL Noble Denton and has driven the growth and diversification of the energy business within Lloyd’s Register. Over the past four years, John has led the restructuring of the energy business, established the Global Technology Centre in Singapore and overseen the acquisitions and integration of Reltech, West Engineering and Senergy.

Alasdair Buchanan, currently Chief Operating Officer for Energy advisory operations within LR has been appointed as the Interim Energy business stream director.
