MEEZA, a Qatar Foundation Joint venture and the leading IT services and solutions provider in Qatar, has marked a major milestone in its journey with an important new agreement with Maersk Oil Qatar (MOQ). The signing ceremony was held during the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
The agreement was signed by MOQ’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Carsten Sonne-Schmidt and MEEZA’s Chief Marketing Officer, Saad Sabah Al Kuwari. Also in attendance were Ahmad Mohammed Al Kuwari, MEEZA CEO, and Sheikh Faisal bin Fahad Al Thani, Deputy Managing Director of MOQ. Under this agreement, MEEZA, a Qatar Foundation joint venture, will be hosting Maersk Oil’s Primary and Disaster Recovery IT equipment in its M-VAULT 2 and M-VAULT 3 state-of-the-art data centers.
