Fugro wins ROV contract in New Zealand

Fugro BTW Ltd has been awarded an ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) contract by Origin Energy Resources (Kupe) Ltd. The Fugro BTW ROV will support drilling and construction operations off the Ensco 107 drilling rig for the installation of the Kupe Gas Project jacket and a 200 day drilling program for the development of the Kupe Field offshore Taranaki, New Zealand. Fugro BTW will also be providing the positioning services to put the Ensco 107 on location. Fugro BTW will work closely with Origin and the construction company Technip to ensure the success of the Kupe Gas Project.
