NISOC Collects 92% of Flared Gases

According to Managing Director of National Iranian South Oilfields Company, less than 8% of NISOC associated gases is currently flared.

Commenting on NISOC strategies regarding minimizing the amount of flared gases, Bijan Alipour reiterated, in line with collecting and injecting company's associated gases, NISOC has scheduled several industrial plans which are currently under way or will be operational in a near future.

Commenting on the number of oilfield development plans, he added, this issue is currently under study, but we are determined to accomplish these projects through expertise and commitment of Iranian experts.

As the largest oil producer, NISOC output accounts for 80% of total domestic crude production and 16% of gas.
