Mr. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, the President and CEO of Qatar Petroleum, ended a 1-day working visit to Algeria during which he held a number of meetings with Algerian officials on cooperation in the fields of energy and investment.
QP’s President & CEO met with Algeria’s Minister of Industry and Mining, His Excellency Mr. Abdul-Salam Bu Shawareb, Algeria’s Mining Director General Mr. Muhammad Al-Taher Bu Arrouj, the Director General of Public and Commercial Sector Affairs and the Managing Director of Manal Mining Complex, the Director General of Investment Promotion Mr. Ammar Aghadir, and the Director General of the National Agency for Investment Development Mr. Abdul-Kareem Mansoori, the CEO of Algeria’s energy company Sonatrach, Mr. Amin Maazouzi.
Talks during the meetings centered on cooperation between both sides and various issues related to the energy sector and Qatari investments. Mr. Al-Kaabi returned to Doha at the end of his visit.
