Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) announced that it has partnered with Gulf Spic General Trading and Contracting Company (GS), for a project to build facilities for the treatment of liquid sulfur in Al-Ahmadi port refinery.
CEO of KNPC Mohammad Al-Mutairi said that he signed the deal on behalf of the company, along with his counterpart at GS Fouad Al-Khadhra. Moreover, Mutairi added that he was glad to have signed the contract for a significant project, with a reputable company that has dabbled extensively in the oil sector.
Meanwhile, the GS CEO thanked KNPC for their trust, saying that the project will be completed in a timely and
efficient manner.
KNPC’s official spokesman and Deputy CEO for Miscellaneous Services Basim Al-Essa revealed that the project is worth KD 29.6 million, with a 30-month timeframe. He also pointed out that the project comprises the construction of facilities to treat and store liquid sulfur.
