Australia's Central Petroleum Receives Revised Offer from Macquarie

ASX-listed Central Petroleum has requested a trading halt to its securities effective immediately, pending an announcement to be made by the Company regarding a revised offer from Macquarie to acquire 100% of the Company’s issued capital.

The Company requests the trading halt be in place until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 13 March 2017 or when the announcement is released to the market. The securities requested to be placed in a trading halt are CTP.

The Company is not aware of anything that would prevent a trading halt from being granted.
