Senior representatives of major oil and gas companies from North Africa are expected to discuss the status of ongoing projects in the region and the key industry trends at the 7th NAPEC event to be held between 21 – 24 March, 2017 in Oran, Algeria (NAPEC 2017).
NAPEC 2017 will kickstart with a keynote address by the Algerian energy minister, H.E. NoureddineBoutarfa. The other speakers in the opening session include Amine Mazouzi, CEO of Sonatrach and Sil Ali Betata, President of ALNAFT, Algeria's energy regulatory authority. Betata will brief attendees about Algeria's upstream investment opportunities and processes.
This year, NAPEC has selected “Working Together Amid the new Oil Price Level” as its theme. A high level executive plenary session based on this theme will see senior representatives from Libya's NOC, Tunisia's ETAP, Egypt's EGAS and Mauritania's SMHPM discussing their countries' unique opportunities and challenges.
The theme of NAPEC 2017 focuses on the challenges the industry faces in meeting global demand efficiently, safely and responsibly whilst ensuring positive financial results in a fluctuating market.
NAPEC 2017 is an ideal platform to explore potential business relationships with a wide range of players in the oil and gas and related industries in the region.
Apart from state owned oil companies in the region, like Algeria's Sonatrach, Libya's NOC, Tunisia's ETAP, the event will also have representatives of international oil companies like REPSOL,ANADARKO, ENI, TOTAL, CEPSA, STATOIL, MAESKOIL,PETERTAMINA, PTTEP, GAZPROM, and service providers, regional energy ministries and regional energy regulatory agencies.
