Iraq Minister of Oil Meets with Algerian Minister of Energy

Mr. Jabbar Ali Hussain Al-Luiebi the minister of oil praised the historic relations between the Iraqi & Algerian people. Mr. Al-Luiebi met with the Algerian minister of energy Mr. Nooraldeen Botarfa in Baghdad at Wednesday the 10th of May. He said that he will discuss with Mr. Botarfa about strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to raising the mutual cooperation in the oil sector.

As well as the consultation and exchanging ideas about the development of the oil sector and the necessary coordination between the producers inside & outside OPEC to take the necessary decisions to stabilize the international oil market.

Mr. Botarfa was glad to visit Iraq and confirmed the keenness of his country to strengthen the relations and bilateral cooperation between the two "brother countries". He said also that he will discuss with Mr. Al-Luiebi and the responsible members from the ministry of oil about the situation of the oil market and the ideas exchange about the next steps which can be taken by the producers inside & outside OPEC to raise the oil prices in the international market.
