The new UNO-DM-PLUS series represents the optimal solution for residential PV installations. Available in six power ratings, from 1.2 to 5.0 kW, the inverter has a compact design and shares the same overall volume. It delivers a higher performance with excellent power density.

Further efficiencies are gained, with installation times greatly reduced due to the presence of Plug and Play connectors that remove the need to open the inverter cover, allowing for simple, fast and cost-effective installation. Meanwhile, an easy commissioning wizard simplifies the configuration process, resulting in lower installation time and reduced costs.

Giovanni Frassineti, head of ABB’s solar business, explains: “At ABB we are always committed to innovating our range of solar technology, developing new PV storage solutions and product platforms to ensure the best possible performance for our customers.

“The UNO-DM-PLUS represents just that commitment – the new design wraps ABB’s quality and engineering into a lightweight and compact package, which thanks to intelligent technological choices means we have created an inverter solution which is optimized for domestic solar installations.”

Once installed, operators can expect an improved user experience with the built-in User Interface allowing access to features such as advanced inverter configuration settings, dynamic feed-in control and load manager, all of which can be accessed remotely via wireless communication with an integrated web server.

This future-proof and flexible inverter design, with embedded connectivity and efficient communication protocol, allows the UNO-DM-PLUS to be easily integrated within any current or future device for smart building automation, smart grid integration and with third party monitoring and control systems. The UNO-DM-PLUS also comes with remote Over The Air (OTA) firmware upgrade for inverter and components.
