A delegation of professionals from OOO LUKOIL-Engineering, which included specialists in the management of well construction design and monitoring, scientific work in the area of crude oil production, etc., paid a working visit to a TATNEFT Company.
The delegation of LUKOIL-Engineering and the professionals of TATNEFT Company exchanged their experience in the improving technologies for development and production of high viscosity oil deposits.
Within the framework of the planned activities, the event participants visited the wells of the Nurlatneft Oil and Gas Production Division, where they got acquainted with the technology of drilling wells with application of the rack and pinion drilling rig; application of the screw pump and the domestically manufacture liquid lifting unit.
They also demonstrated to the professionals of LUKOIL-Engineering the operation of the HVO production workshop, the technology applied for production of high-viscosity oil, the EVO treatment facility and the treatment of associated water. In addition, they offered to the visitors the technology of designing and project management for the sights of EVO operations.
TATNEFT has successfully applied steam-gravity drainage technologies for shallow-deposited high-viscosity oil fields. Implementation of the project witnessed establishment of a special oilfield infrastructure, including boilers for steam generation, HVO treatment facilities, associated water treatment plants, etc.
