Chiyoda Corporation has concluded a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company Limited (ADNOC LNG) to provide state-of-the-art digital technologies, including artificial intelligence and bid data analytics, on ADNOC LNG’s facilities.

The MOU was signed by Ms. Fatima Al Nuaimi, acting CEO of ADNOC LNG and Mr. Masaji Santo, President & CEO of Chiyoda on 29 April 2018 and witnessed at the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Business Forum on 30 April 2018 by H.E. Engineer Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during his visit to Abu Dhabi.

Chiyoda’s advanced solutions will be integrated with the advanced Al technologies of its strategic alliance partner, GRID Inc., and the applied digital technologies will increase the value of ADNOC LNG assets through optimized plant operation and maintenance and improved production efficiency.

Chiyoda’s core business of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of LNG plants has further flourished into a primary source of profit since its first LNG project for ADNOC LNG in 1976. By providing the latest digital technologies to its inaugral LNG plant, Chiyoda is striving to achieve the goal of ‘technology and business innovation (developing a new business model for a digital society)’ in our Medium-Term Management Plan: ”Mirai Engineering” – A Grand Opportunity for the Future.
