SP14 director announced offshore package of the phase 14 will be completed by the end of coming winter. In this regard, the first platform of this phase will be exploited by the end of this May.
Offshore platforms constructions, pipelay operations to onshore facility, drilling operations, and onshore facility constructions have reached to 91.5, 90, 80, and 75.5 percent of progress respectively. Totally, phase 14 development plan has met 80 percent of progress so far, Hamid Reza Masoudi was quoted by public relations.
Daily output of 28.2 MCM by the end of summer.
Reminding the first deck installation in the last January, Masoudi said drilling complementary operations of 7 wells have been successfully completed. Moreover, the final stages for launching the platform 14A pipelines as well as the transfer pipeline from unit 100 to the phase 12 are now being performed.
Having launched the platform 14A in couple of weeks as scheduled, daily production of 500 million cubic feet of sour gas will be transferred to the phase 12 for sweetening operations.
Pointing to other offshore facilities condition, phase 14 director said complementary operations for 8 wells which belong to the platform 14C are being accomplished with a considerable progress. Thus, Daily production of 500 million cubic feet of sour gas is predicted to fulfill as the deck launch by the end of this summer. Consequently the first stage of this development plan, totally with daily production of 1 billion cubic feet, will be completed by 2 offshore platforms.
Masoudi said marine pipelines which including 230 kilometers of 32-inch pipelines, 4.5-inch pipelines for glycol injection, and infield pipelines among the platforms along with hydro test operations and pipelines fittings to the jacket have been implemented. Accordingly south pars phase14 development plan will be completely exploited by the end of coming Iranian year (March 20 2019).
First sweetening row to launch by summer 2019.
SP14 director stated that the unit 121 of stream production along with the units 123 and 124 of air and nitrogen production are now in the process of pre-commissioning.
After launching utility units, Masoudi expressed hope that the first sweetening row of this refinery will be exploited by winter 2020.
SP14 development plan aims to produce 56,600,000 MCM of sour gas, 75000 barrels of gas condensate per day. It also annually produces over one million tons of liquid gas and one million tons of ethane for petrochemical units consumption as well as to produce 400 tons of sulfur per day.
