WRS Awarded Telford Offshore Crew Management Contract

Worldwide Recruitment Solutions Ltd (WRS), the multi-discipline recruitment, outsourcing and mobilisation company, has been awarded, the hotly contended, three-year crew management contract by Telford Offshore. The WRS Maritime Division won the contract following a two-month tender process. Following an extensive pre-qualification exercise performed by Telford Offshore, WRS was subsequently invited to submit a Tender for the provision of these services.

The global contract, which is to provide a range of crew management services, includes five vessels which, at capacity will require over 300 crew members. The contract begins on 1 July 2018 and will run for three years with the potential for a further two x one-year extensions.

The WRS Maritime Division was the incumbent on the contract and has worked closely with Telford Offshore’s vessels and operational team over the last four years, to develop global sourcing and staff mobilisation processes, to ensure the smooth running of numerous projects in locations including Brazil, Argentina, Nigeria and Ghana.

The WRS Maritime Division is an 18-strong team, who are focused solely on the maritime space. The team includes crew management, technical management and global mobilisation specialists for both permanent and contract roles. Entering the marketplace 10 years ago, the maritime division has continued to diversify and invest in the future of the maritime industry.
