During a recent visit to Nigeria, Phil Stone visited the Port Harcourt premises of Standard Testing and Inspection Services (STIS) and met with their MD, Nsidibe Alexander, and COO, Ime Ikono. This follows the signing of a 3-year agreement with STIS as the sole distributor for Tendeka’s PulseEight in Nigeria.
PulseEight wireless intelligent completion technology provides operators with more options to extend the life of their existing assets, and to develop new fields more effectively. PulseEight provides cable-free control and monitoring for a wide range of applications through the use of a unique pressure pulse telemetry, that allows wireless communication between downhole and the wellhead.
Eliminating control lines makes PulseEight a simple-to-install, cost-effective solution for oil, water and gas control in greenfield, brownfield, extended reach, and multi-lateral applications.
Phil said: “Nsidibe and his team have been instrumental in introducing PulseEight to Nigeria, with our first installation planned for early 2019. This partnership complements the existing relationship we have with Mansfield Energy in the region, and I’m looking forward to working alongside both partners in the coming years.”
Under the guidance of Managing Director, Dapo Oshinusi, Mansfield Energy represents Tendeka in all other areas of the company’s business in Nigeria which includes Sand and Inflow Control, Zonal Isolation and emerging technologies such as Cascade3 and FloFuse.
