SAP and Sakhalin Energy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Eastern Economic Forum on 5 September 2019. The Parties will cooperate in the fields of innovation and digitization using SAP products, and will roll out the best international practices and new technologies and upgrade the existing IT systems.
ERP system localisation on the basis of SAP S/4HANA will be a key milestone allowing to overcome the limitations of the existing IT landscape and unite Company's business processes on the basis of a single digital core to assure improved effectiveness and further growth of Sakhalin Energy.

The implementation of such tools will be comprehensive and will build a foundation for making our company more competitive,” said Sakhalin Energy’s CEO Roman Dashkov.
Additionally to the design and roll out of SAP-based IT systems and operation and development of the existing systems, the partnership will focus on Sakhalin Energy Competence Center staff training and competence development by SAP experts and partners.
