Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh said Iran's Petropars was developing Phase 11 project of South Pars gas field as CNPC International and Total had fully abandoned the project.
According to ICANA, Zangeneh said developing the first phase of the project was fully awarded to Petropars as its initial partners, China’s CNPCI and France’s Total, pulled out of the project.
“Petropars has started developing the project and is currently sealing contracts for correcting jackets and provision of main items for drilling operations,” he said.
