The company is also committed to carry out studies for the realization of important social projects, following the cooperation model for sustainable development and environmental safeguard promoted by Eni in other countries where it operates.
With this agreement, Eni further strengthens its presence in the Sub-Saharan region, where it is already present in Nigeria, Gabon, Congo Brazzaville, Angola and Mozambique with an overall production of 450,000 boed and a significant, successful exploration activity.
In this region, Eni is also committed to the education of local people and to the realization of several social projects, as well as for health, agricultural and environmental safeguard also through the use of gas for power generation.
