Equinor Given Consent for Use of Transocean Norge

Norway's Petroleum Safety Authority has given Equinor consent to use Transocean Norge for plugging, drilling and completion of Mikkel (PL 121) and Tyrihans (PL 073), and exploration drilling of pilot well 6407/1-A-3 BH/CH.

Transocean Norge is a semi-submersible facility of the MMCS60 type. The facility was built in Singapore by Sembcorp Marine at Jurong Shipyard (JSPL) in the period 2012-2016.
