Aker BP Given Consent for Exploration Drilling in Norwegian Sea

Norway's Petroleum Safety Authority has given Aker BP consent for exploration drilling in Block 6607/12 in the Norwegian Sea. Well 6607/12-4 will be drilled to test the Alve NE prospect in production licence PL 127C.

Geographical coordinates are 6603'39.7354" North 0759'5.8170" East. Water depth is 363 metres.

The well is scheduled to take 90.5 days and will be drilled by the Deepsea Nordkapp.
