In November, the Paulínia Refinery (Replan) reached a new record for processing pre-salt oils, reaching 1,356,851 m³, equivalent to 74% of the total oil processed in the month. In the previous record, of October this year, Replan had registered 1,316,876 m³ of processed pre-salt oils, which represented 68% of the load.

Among the pre-salt oils processed in November at Replan, we highlight the Buzios, Sapinhoa, Tupi and Atapu oils. The production of oil from the pre-salt layer has increased considerably in recent years and has contributed to the lower processing of imported light oils, since pre-salt oils are lighter than oils from the post-salt fields.

Replan has the capacity to process 69 million liters of oil per day, the largest in Petrobras' refining park. The main derivatives produced are diesel, gasoline, aviation kerosene (QAV), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), fuel oils, asphalt, coke and propylene.
