Magseis Fairfield have concluded acquisition project offshore Mexico. This marked the end of the first ever deep water Ocean Bottom Node (OBN) seismic survey acquired in Mexico, and it was another successful project by our ZXPLR crew. With careful planning, global controls and pre-boarding testing, our crews were able to perform this project while recording zero positive cases of COVID and zero Lost Time Incidents (LTIs) – a testament to the strong HSE commitment within our organization.
On top of the excellent safety performance, the crew was actively involved in IAGC’s Ghost Net Initiative. 4 kilos of debris from the water was collected, reported and properly disposed of. We left the area with less waste in water than when we arrived!
