SONATRACH Is Building 10 Wells Powered by Solar Energy in El Oued

The national hydrocarbons company SONATRACH announced in a press release that it had completed ten (10) wells equipped with pumps powered by solar energy at the level of Oued Ittel, region of El Baadj, in the wilaya of El Oued, dedicated to the irrigation of agricultural land.

“SONATRACH, in its capacity as a corporate citizen and faithful to its social responsibility, has built ten (10) wells equipped with pumps powered by solar energy at the level of Oued Ittel, region of El Baadj, wilaya of El Oued , dedicated to the irrigation of agricultural lands, and this, according to the standards in the matter and within the fixed deadlines ”, specified the same source.

These water wells were delivered to local authorities on February 3, who in turn made them available to beneficiary farmers, the statement posted on its Facebook page added. (APS)
