Following a successful tender process, Taylor Hopkinson (TH) has been awarded a five-year framework agreement to supply contract personnel to Ørsted in Germany, to support the development of the Gode 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind projects.
The scope of work will see TH will provide qualified personnel across a broad range of roles within the allocated lots, from construction, engineering and O&M to project management and commissioning. The agreement commenced on 1 March 2021 and will run until 2025.
Gode Wind 3 is expected to be fully commissioned in 2024 with Borkum Riffgrund 3 expected the following year, bringing a combined total capacity of 1.1 GW.
Taylor Hopkinson has supplied specialist teams to deliver packages of work on over 75 offshore wind farms globally, carving out a dominant position in the provision of contractors for European offshore wind projects in recent years.
