Yanshan Petrochemical's Hydrogen Plant Hits a New High on a Daily Basis

As five rechargeable tube bundle trucks carrying 1,329 kilograms of fuel cell hydrogen drove out of Yanshan Petrochemical and sent to customers, the amount of hydrogen produced by Yanshan Petrochemical's battery in a single day reached a new high. Since the first vehicle of Yanshan Petrochemical’s battery hydrogen was delivered on December 16, 2020, as of March 24 this year, the cumulative production of Yanshan Petrochemical’s battery hydrogen has exceeded 25 tons.

As an official strategic cooperation project between Sinopec and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Yanshan Petrochemical's new hydrogen energy plant makes full use of the by-product hydrogen of the enterprise's refining system and adopts the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) process to produce hydrogen used in the fuel cell and electronics industries. , To provide guarantee for the use of hydrogen for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles during the Winter Olympics. With the approach of the Winter Olympics and the implementation of the Beijing New Energy Vehicle Plan, Yanshan Petrochemical has further optimized the operation of its equipment, increased production load, and ensured a stable supply of hydrogen to surrounding markets.
